In a significant move to strengthen the administrative machinery of the royal court and ensure the seamless coordination of palace affairs, His Royal Majesty, Oba James Babatunde Ajiboye, Otutubiosun I, the Elemure of Emure-Ekiti, has approved the appointment of key palace aides.
These appointments, which take immediate effect, reflect the monarch’s commitment to a responsive, structured and people-centered leadership style aimed at advancing the heritage, harmony and socio-cultural development of Emure Kingdom.
The newly appointed aides will work in close synergy with His Royal Majesty to implement policies, oversee daily palace operations and provide support services critical to the functioning of the traditional institution.
According to a palace source, the appointments were made after careful consideration of each individual’s character, experience and dedication to the ideals of royal service. The goal is to build a team that embodies discipline, loyalty, professionalism and service to the people of Emure-Ekiti.

- Ayodele Kolawole – Personal Assistant to the Kabiyesi
- Ajiboye Boboye – Welfare Officer
- Olufemi Ogundare – Palace Maintenance Officer
- Falaju Clement – Protocol Officer
- Olu Okeya – Chief Press Secretary to the Monarch
- Jimoh Lawal – Chief Security Officer
- Babalola Ayodele – Personal Driver to Kabiyesi
- Fasoyin Idowu – Personal Driver
- Olorundero Richard – Palace Security
- Boluwade Abel – Palace Security
- Kolade Talabi Yemi – Electrician
- Abileko Dupe – Cleaner
- Idowu Oyerinde – Palace Messenger
- Talabi Febisola – Cleaner
- Asejire Beatrice – Cleaner
- Bode Jegede – Palace Court Clerk
- Oladipupo Adejoke – Cleaner
- Adebayo Modupe Omowumi – Cleaner
The palace emphasized that this team would play an integral role in supporting the vision of the new monarch, which includes preserving Emure’s cultural legacy, promoting community development and ensuring a palace environment that reflects order, dignity and public trust.
His Royal Majesty, Oba Ajiboye, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the appointees for accepting the call to serve and urged them to discharge their duties with humility, efficiency, and a deep sense of responsibility. He reiterated that the palace is not just a symbol of royalty, but a center of service, justice and unity for all Emure indigenes and residents.
