Emure Ekiti Visionary Council Transforms into Ways and Means Committee to Drive Development

The winds of transformation are blowing through Emure Kingdom as the Emure Ekiti Visionary Council has been reconstituted and officially renamed the Emure Ekiti Ways and Means Committee. This strategic move marks a new era of purposeful leadership, with the revered monarch, His Royal Highness, Oba James Babatunde Ajiboye, the Elemure of Emure, steering the committee’s vision towards sustainable growth and accountability.

At a well-attended and highly productive meeting held under the distinguished chairmanship of Kabiyesi Elemure, the monarch reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to ensuring that Emure remains a beacon of progress in Ekiti State. He stressed the crucial role of community oversight in the monitoring of government projects, pointing out that transparency and accountability must be the cornerstone of every developmental effort.

“We cannot fold our arms and watch projects meant for our people go unchecked,” Kabiyesi declared. “It is our duty as a community to ensure that every initiative brings value to Emure and improves the lives of our people.”

The Chairman of the newly restructured committee, Chief Thomas Osesusi, the Sapetu of Emure, pledged unalloyed loyalty and cooperation with Kabiyesi, assuring the gathering that the committee would function in harmony with the palace to accelerate the kingdom’s progress.

Hon. Tunde Oke, the Secretary of the Committee, did not shy away from highlighting the challenges faced by the previous structure. He prayed for divine guidance and wisdom for the monarch, describing Kabiyesi’s leadership as the key to unlocking Emure’s collective potential.
